We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 & 3 Vacuum Truck Operators to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a septic truck to pump out and transport wastewater, sewage, and other waste materials from residential, commercial, and oilfield septic systems. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a septic truck to pump out wastewater from septic tanks and transport it to designated disposal facilities
- Safely maneuver the truck to the job site and ensure proper setup for waste extraction.
- Interact professionally with customers to provide service updates, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all safety guidelines and comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste handling and disposal
- Complete necessary paperwork including invoicing, time sheets, Pre-trip inspection and ELD.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License
- Must have off road driving experience.
- Valid safety certificates required (H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space)
- Experience operating vacuum trucks is preferred, in house training is available if needed
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in safety and compliance matters.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, other.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or after-hours as needed
